The categories are:

New Business Award
The New Business category recognizes businesses that have been in operation for less than 3 years and have strategies & plans to achieve business growth. These entrepreneurs took the leap and have shown that they have what it takes to make it!
The business must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a for-profit business with a substantial base of operations in the communities of Warman, Osler, Martensville, or within the surrounding Prairie Sky Region.
2. Have a valid business license in the city of which they operate in.
3. Be in operation for less than 3 years as of December 31, 2023.
4. Must not have been the recipient of this award in the previous two years.

Community Involvement Award
This category celebrates businesses that lead in creative ways and have a positive impact on the community. Showing evidence of clearly expressed and widely communicated strategy, focusing on actions which demonstrate a responsibility to enhance the social and natural environments in which they operate. From pitching in to help neighbors, to launching a new business initiative, if you chipped in to support your community, this is the award for you.
The business must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a for-profit business with a substantial base of operations in the communities of Warman, Osler, Martensville, or within the surrounding Prairie Sky Region.
2. Have a valid business license in the city of which they operate in.
3. Be in operation for a minimum of 1 year as of December 31, 2023.
4. Must not have been the recipient of this award in the previous two years.

Customer Service Award
This category celebrates businesses that built new connections with customers. Leveraging the new and often unprecedented circumstances, these businesses served customers in new and tailored ways. Whatever the specific circumstance, if you switched things up to better serve your customers, this category is for you!
The business must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a for-profit business with a substantial base of operations in the communities of Warman, Osler, Martensville, or within the surrounding Prairie Sky Region.
2. Have a valid business license.
3. Must not have been the recipient of this award in the previous two years.

Business Marketing Award
The Business Marketing Award is presented to the business demonstrating excellence in the execution of marketing strategy, which may include advertising, promotions, products/service development, distribution/delivery and/or pricing strategies.
The business must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a for-profit business with a substantial base of operations in the communities of Warman, Osler, Martensville, or within the surrounding Prairie Sky Region.
2. Have a valid business license in the city of which they operate in.
3. Must not have been the recipient of this award in the previous two years.

Small Business Award
This award celebrates unique businesses, innovative entrepreneurs that provide professional services to the Warman, Osler, Martensville and surrounding Prairie Sky Region. This award will be given to the business whose example demonstrates out of the box thinking and dedication to providing quality services. Professionals such as Artists, musicians, interior designers, food truck owners, dog walkers, freelance writers, and much more suit this award.
The business must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a for-profit business with a substantial base of operations in the communities of Warman, Osler, Martensville, or within the surrounding Prairie Sky Region.
2. Must not have been the recipient of this award in the previous two years.

Employer of the Year Award
The Employer of the YEAR category recognizes businesses that demonstrate leadership in their commitment to providing a healthy work environment and strong employee communication process. This company may offer exceptional workspaces, health benefits, training & skills, and support for community Involvement.
The business must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a for-profit business with a substantial base of operations in the communities of Warman, Osler, Martensville, or within the surrounding Prairie Sky Region.
2. Have a valid business license in the city of which they operate in.
3. Be in operation for 3+ years as of December 31, 2023.
4. Business must have five or more employees.
5. Must not have been the recipient of this award in the previous two years.

Business of the Year Award
The Business of the Year category recognizes businesses that have demonstrated resilience, perseverance, compassion, determination, and leadership.
The business must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a for-profit business with a substantial base of operations in the communities of Warman, Osler, Martensville, or within the surrounding Prairie Sky Region.
2. Have a valid business license in the city of which they operate in.
3. Be in operation for 5+ years as of December 31, 2023.
4. Business must have five or more employees.
5. Must not have been the recipient of this award in the previous two years
